Grow Light Tips

Selecting the correct grow light for your growing area depends on a number of factors. Greenhouse or non-greenhouse application, physical size of the growing area, ceiling height, distance from the top of the plant canopy (at plant maturity) to the bottom of the grow light, and the type of plants to be grown. The type of plants to be grown will also determine if you should select a Fluorescent, Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium system with a conversion bulb, or a system with a switchable ballast.
